“New Delhi: Chiranjeevi has been bestowed with the Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award in the nation. Actor NTR Jr. and filmmaker S S Rajamouli have extended their congratulations, highlighting the inspirational impact of this achievement on future generations.
The President confers the Padma Awards—Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri—during ceremonial events at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Following the Padma Vibhushan ceremony, Chiranjeevi expressed gratitude in a video on Instagram.
“I am truly overwhelmed, humbled, and grateful. This life and moment owe themselves to the unconditional love of the audience, my friends, my blood brothers, and sisters.
I have always tried to express my gratitude in various ways, but nothing can ever be enough. In my 45-year career on-screen, I have endeavored to entertain you to the best of my abilities and assist the needy through participation in relevant social and humanitarian causes,” he shared.
Chiranjeevi was previously honored with the Padma Bhushan in 2006. This year, Pyarelal Sharma, Usha Uthup, and Mithun Chakraborty also received the Padma Bhushan.
In terms of his career, Chiranjeevi is set to grace the screen with his upcoming movies, namely ‘Mega 157’ and ‘Vishwambhara.’ Additionally, he recently showcased his acting prowess in the Telugu action drama ‘Bhola Shankar.’
